Oh my god: I went to Coldplay yesterday, and I still can't believe I've seen them just three meters away from me.

Their music was live even better than on the cd's, can you imagine?

This is how my day looked like, 2 October 2008:

I woke up, it was 7.45 AM and I had to go to school, I was almost late! So I hurried and got just in time in class: Math.
When I finished all my lessons, (well, half my lessons, because I had to go earlier to go with the train to the other side of the country, yeah.. The Netherlands is small!) I got home, got my bag and left with the train with a friend of mine.

We had to go for 2,5 hours with the train all the way from the east of The Netherlands to Rotterdam, which is in the west. When we arrived, we ate and we got on the metro to Ahoy (where the concert took place). Like England, it's always raining here in The Netherlands. We arrived with the metro at Ahoy at 5.15 PM and we had to wait till 7.00 when the doors got open (the concert started at 8.00). And of course: it started raining and thank god for umbrellas.

The doors got open and we ran to the shop to buy a tshirt and to drop out coats and jackets. Then we had to wait for an hour till the band before Coldplay began (I don't know what's the word in English..). It was the most horrible music I ever heard, oh my god. It was like my ears we're bleeding or something, it was so so so bad.

But than it all started, they changed the stage with all the Coldplay guitars and stuff in 45 minutes and the lights went off. Screaming, yelling people all around us, the sounds of Life in Technicolour started and than it happened, my dreams came true:

COLDPLAY, only 3 meters away from me, started playing Life in Technicolour and Violet Hill and it was already the most beautiful day of my life.

They played like 25 songs, their live performance is even better than on the cd's. Everything was so beautiful, Chris Martin (of course), the lights, the music!, the stage and the fans.

It ended at 11.30 pm and we went home with the car, my dad was crazy enough to come and get us. Of course I couldn't sleep, I only slept for three hours and now I'm at school.. But it was all worth it.
